Tiling with weberset pro lite - rapid
weberset pro lite – rapid is a lightweight, rapid-setting, ultra-flexible (S2), low-dust, cement-based floor tile adhesive for interior and exterior use.
Tiling with under-floor heating
Weber's highly polymer-modified adhesives and grouts have enough flexibility when set to accommodate thermally induced movement.
weberfloor flex with Low Dust Technology™ can be used to cover and protect the wires that otherwise could get damaged during application of the adhesive. Once weberfloor flex has dried use weberset rapid SPF with Low Dust Technology™ to tile your floor. weberset rapid SPF is specifically formulated to allow the fixing of large format ceramic, porcelain and natural stone tiles.
Finally, use weberjoint pro with Mould Stop Technology to grout your floor. weberjoint pro can be applied in joints from 1mm to 10mm.
Tiling onto an anhydrite screed
Anhydrite floors have a layer of laitance that needs to be removed before tiling. Once laitance has been removed use weber PR360 to prime your floor. The floor can now be tiled using weberset rapid plus ECO which contains new innovative Cement Replacement Technology considerably reducing its impact on the environment. weberset rapid plus ECO is specifically formulated to allow easy bedding of large format tiles. Finally, use weberjoint pro with Mould Stop Technology to grout your floor. weberjoint pro can be applied in joints from 1mm to 10mm.
Tanking and tiling with large format tiles
Water-sensitive substrates such as plywood, plaster and plasterboard can be protected from damage by any water that penetrates the tiling layer, by the application of a surface waterproofing layer, known as a tanking system. The most likely places for leaks are in internal corners and around pipes, plugholes, trim etc, so these areas must be treated with care.
Once webersys protect has been applied and your wet room is completely water-proofed use weberset plus adhesive to tile your walls. weberset plus is specially formatted to allow the fixing of large format ceramic, porcelain and natural stone tiles without vertical slip.
Finally grout using weberjoint wall with Mould Stop Technology.
Low Dust Technology™
Low Dust Technology™, which is already present in selected best-selling products in Weber’s tile fixing range, significantly reduces airborne dust created during the pouring and mixing processes without compromising the premium characteristics of the original products.
