Constraints

Do not use:

In exterior situations, areas of continuous immersion or rising damp
On plasterboard

Preparation

Surfaces must be clean, sound and free from dust, grease, wax, etc.
Remove any friable residues (peeling paint, old adhesive for vinyl tiles, laitance, etc.
Roughen sealed tile surfaces with a suitable abrasive pad to improve key.
Rinse thoroughly and allow to dry.
Sand down any polish or varnish from wood.
Do not apply weber PR301 on gypsum board or on surfaces permanently wet or subject to rising damp.
weber PR301 is not designed to ensure the waterproofing of surfaces prone to dampness.

Mixing

Do not add water or any other component as this will affect the product's bonding properties.
Pour 1 volume of part A into 1 volume of part B and mix with a slow speed mixer until a fluid and homogeneous liquid is obtained.

Application

Apply an even coating at a regular thickness with a wool roller or a flat paint brush. Complete coverage of all surfaces is essential. Clean all tools immediately after use with water. Leave for at least one hour before coating.

After setting, weber PR301 will appear to be a pink translucent film, which is sticky to provide a good bond to the material being used as a coating.

Avoid excess traffic on the primed areas; spiked shoes can be worn to reduce damage.
If weber PR301 is left too long before application of the mortar and loses its tackiness, it will be neccessary to apply another coat.

Storage and Shelf life

When stored airtight in a cool, dry place at temperatures above 5°C and protected from frost, shelf life is 12 months from date of manufacture.
