New student accommodation aimed at establishing options for the phased growth of on-site residential accommodation, and increasing the number and proportion of study bedrooms equipped with en-suite bathrooms.

As part of the continued development of the UEA this first phase of 400 bedrooms consists of two continually curved blocks, aimed at increasing the number of study bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. Designed to tie in with the new Medical Centre, they use bright, colourful render and modern design.

The flawless application of weber.pral M, a one-coat, through-coloured monocouche render, by Fink led to a visually stunning result. Not only has the render graced the building with a finish which is aesthetically pleasing to the eye but the practical properties contained within the render ensures the building will have excellent weather resistance and durability, whilst allowing the structure to breathe. weber.pral M has been designed for spray application and can be applied up to 28mm thick in two passes. Manual application is also possible.
