Situated on the Isle of Dogs, overlooking Canary Wharf and the Millenium Dome stands the Lighthouse development, a true reflection of luxurious living quarters. The development is comprised of 113 separate living quarters broken down into 1 and 2 bedroom apartments and 2 and 3 bedroom penthouses with secure underground parking.

The Lighthouse sits directly over the Blackwell tunnel so the structural weight of the development was a primary consideration, it had to be kept to a minimum and stay within NHBC insurance specifications. To fulfil these requirements, the high performance external wall insulation system weber.therm XM was specified in conjunction with a weber.plast TF finish.

Through this choice of system, Weber, were able to satisfy the NHBC requirement of the maintenance of a minimum 15mm water defence cavity between external insulation and lightweight metal framing through the use of components from weber.therm FT.

weber.therm FT has been specifically designed for use with the insulation system weber.therm XM to provide robust detailing, weather sealing and to satisfy NHBC requirements with single skin or lightweight steel frame construction.
