This impressive residential building, situated on Clacton's sea front, is a recent development from McCarthy and Stone aimed at the retirement market. Originally a Victorian seaside hotel, the building has been converted into a residential property comprised of 81 apartments. The building itself has an elegant and simple structure so it was crucial to specify an appropriate decorative render to compliment this feature as well as add an air of individuality which would create a striking first impression to potential buyers.

To achieve this, the weber.pral M in Ivory was specified from the Weber product portfolio. Scrape finished, Monocouche render weber.pral M has been designed to provide a similar surface to the texture of weathered stone. This, combined with progressive hardening characteristics, allow, when applied to recommended thicknesses, replica 'ashlar' features to be marked into its surface shortly after application. In this instance the subtle 'ashlar' markings added a further touch of class to the exterior of the building and elevated further the subtle ivory tone of the facade render. weber.pral M is available in a range of 12 standard and 24 special colours.

Whilst projecting an attractive, aesthetic look, there are many important practical properties that weber.pral M has to offer. Primarily it has excellent resistance and durability in all weather conditions-in a seaside town this is an important factor which should not be overlooked.
