Glass fibre reinforcement net for Weber's floor solutions. The net has an alkaline-resistant impregnation.



Field of application

The weber.floor 4945 glass fibre net is used as reinforcement for Weber's floor screeds. The net is normally used on weak substrates or in case the screed is laid nonbonded or when otherwise specified in Weber's Floor construction solution.


Properties

  • Glass fibre net with alkaline resistant impregnation.
  • Mesh width 10 x 10 mm.

Substrate

The substrate should be rigid and able to carry all added weight of the new screed floor (check with the constructional designer). Most bearing substrates are suitable and depending on the substrate material the floor screed is either laid with bond or as a nonbonded solution, using Weber's Geotextile 4940 as a separating layer. Also heat or impact sound insulation boards or mats can be used as substrate.  


Application

Roll out on the substrate and cut in suitable length with a knife. Turn the net upside down, in order to keep the edges down. The net should be laid with an overlap of 50 mm.


Storage

Indefinite.

100m rolls, 1200mm wide.
