The high performance external wall insulation system weber.therm XM was specified for the Cornish Units in conjunction with a weber.plast TF finish. weber.therm XM is a lightweight insulation system incorporating a thin-coat polymer render and meshcloth reinforcement. The system will provide efficient thermal insulation for the building as well as eliminate interstitial condensation by creating a 'warm wall' construction. The finish coat on the flats is weber.plast TF; an acrylic based, composite, decorative render which not only gives an attractive finish but also provides the building with durability and resilience against all harsh and exposed weather conditions. Each individual home has received a different colour finish which has provided the area with a new vibrancy and appeal.
