Technical data

Preparation
All surfaces must be mechanically sound, dry and clean. All saw cuts should be free of slurry, dirt, dust, grease, oil or any other contaminants.
Saw cuts should be as narrow as possible, depending on cable size.
Surfaces should provide a textured, mechanical key for full bond.
The edges of slots should be cut sharp.
New concrete should be at least 7 days old prior to grouting.
Mixing
Mix using a forced-action mixer, such as a Daines Mixal mixer or Cretengle, or using an EPi MR 130B helical paddle and slow speed drill (below 450 rpm).
Take care not to entrain air whilst mixing.
Part mixing
Part mixes may be made for smaller quantities using the cups provided.
Mix ratios by volume as follows:
-
1 plastic cup of resin
-
2 paper cups of hardener.
Mix in a clean mixing bucket, pour in the resin and then gradually stir in the powder hardener to achieve a smooth, even consistency.
Application
Immediately after mixing, pour weber.tec cable grout into the prepared slot using a funnel or tun dish.
Top up as required within 2 hours.
weber.tec cable grout is not intended for filling large voids. For gaps wider than 15 mm, use weber.tec cable grout mixed with clean, dry, rounded aggregate up to 5 mm diameter. Up to 10 kg of aggregate can be used for gaps not exceeding 30 mm.
Setting times are dependent upon temperature. These are shown in the Technical Data table.
Cleaning
Clean tools with weber.tec solvent 3 before the grout sets.
