Technical data

Preparation
weber.cem keycoat
A single-component, polymer-modified, corrosion-inhibiting bonding primer for parent concrete and steel reinforcement.
Once mixed with water the product is brush applied to the substrate prior to the application of weber.cem repair mortars.
Supplied in 5 kg and 25 kg bags.
weber.cem HB30 and HB40
Single-component, high-build polymer-modified repair mortars for replacing defective concrete.
Once mixed with water, the product can be applied by hand by compacting on to tacky weber.cem keycoat and finished with a wooden or plastic float.
Supplied in 20 kg bags.
weber.cem fairing coat
A single-component, polymer-modified levelling mortar used to prevent ghosting of concrete repairs through decorative finishes.
Once mixed with water, the product is applied by hawk and trowel and finished with a damp sponge.
Supplied in 25 kg bags.
weber.cote coatings
Single-component, acrylic anti-carbonation coatings for the long term protection of existing concrete and new repairs.
Available in clear, pigmented smooth, flexible and elastomeric versions.
weber.cote coatings
are applied by brush, roller or airless spray in two coats. If stabilisation of the concrete is required prior to application, the surface should be treated using weber.cote primer.
Supplied in 15 litre pails
Coverage / Yield
weber.cem keycoat
Coverage is approximately 1 kg per m2.
weber.cem HB30
Yield is approximately 16 litres per 20 kg bag or 0.5 m2 at 30 mm thickness.
weber.cem HB40
Yield is approximately 16 litres per 20 kg bag or 0.5 m2 at 30 mm thickness.
weber.cem fairing coat
Yield is approximately 13 litres per 25 kg bag depending on water addition. This equates to approximately 6.5 m2 per bag at 2 mm thickness.
weber.cote coatings
The coverage of weber.cote coatings will vary depending on the type of substrate and the surface porosity. The following is a guide for brush or roller application on to smooth surfaces.
| Product | Coverage |
| clear | 4 to 6 m2/litre/coat |
| smooth | 8 to 10 m2/litre/coat |
| EC | 2 to 2.25 m2/litre/coat |
| flexible | 4 to 5 m2/litre/coat |
| weber.cote primer | 7 to 10 m2/litre/coat |
